Welcome to GDC Nagrota

The college was established on 16 July 2019 . It was run from a few rooms acquired by the Department of Higher Education from Govt. Middle School Nagrota. The maiden strength of the college was 145 students. The first academic session of the College offered only Humanities as its electives. Later non medical stream too was incorporated in its subjects. As of now the College boasts of a sizeable strength of 525 students. Though the beginning of the College was from a humble abode, yet in this financial year, a huge College campus near Benani Nallah, having an area of 40 Kanals, will be deliverable to the students of not only Nagrota but Jammu and Kashmir on the whole. The College building is huge and has an infrastructure of Library, Laboratories and Sports field. With each passing year the College will cater to a growing populace of Jammu and Kashmir UT. With a futuristic vision in mind, a holistic development of the students is envisioned for a brighter Bharat. The college’s Trajectory will always focus on and propel the student’s intellectual and individual growth.
